What We Do

At Second-Life Technology, we refurbish old electronics and donate them to underrepresented communities. We aim to remove barriers preventing communities from entering and harnessing the digital era. We also offer digital literacy programs so communities and individuals can adequately take advantage of our services - ensuring real, meaningful change.

Every pickup, drop-off and device handover we do happens inside or near the GTA. If you're outside the area around the GTA we sadly can't collect hardware from you - the shipping and handling costs would come straight out of the programs we're trying to fund.

In Need?

We offer hardware donations to a variety of communities and institutions, including schools, libraries, food banks, and community centers. We also offer need-based individual donations as well. Please contact us to learn more about eligibility and the donation process.

Would You Like To Make A Donation?

We accept both monetary and hardware donations. We take in any electronics, broken or not, and refurbish them. If we're unable to refurbish a device, we'll ensure that it's recycled responsibly. All monetary donations are used to fund our refurbishment processes, digital literacy programs and distribution channels.
